Above Academy / Ambrose Studio is committed to protecting the privacy and security of personal information collected from our clients, students, and website visitors. This Privacy Policy outlines the manner in which personal data is collected, used, stored, and disclosed in accordance with applicable laws, including the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), Québec’s Law 25, and, where applicable, international regulations such as the GDPR.

   We collect personal information including, but not limited to: name, address, email, phone number, payment information, and purchase or booking history. Data may be collected through our website, booking platform (Fresha), online shop, or payment processors (Square, iFinance).
    

2. Use of Information
   Information is used strictly for the purposes of: 
   - Processing bookings, course registrations, and product purchases
   - Providing confirmations, invoices, and service communications.
   - Delivering products ordered through our online shop.
   - Meeting legal, financial, and security obligations.
    

3. Disclosure of Information: We do not sell personal data. Information may be disclosed only to trusted third parties strictly for service delivery (e.g., shipping providers, payment processors) and only where such disclosure is legally permitted.
    

4. Data Retention & Protection: Personal data will be retained only as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected and will be securely destroyed thereafter. Technical, administrative, and physical safeguards are in place to prevent unauthorized access.

HOURS
(Includes telephone hours, chatting hours, and in-person hours)

Monday-Tuesday-Wednesday: 10am – 6pm EST
Thursday-Friday: CLOSED
Saturday-Sunday: 10am - 6pm EST (Generally class hours)

INVOICING
All orders are processed in house. After placing your order, you will receive an automatic confirmation email. 

PAYMENT
All orders are prepaid with Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Visa/Debit or Paypal. E-transfer is available for Canadian Citizens only - please email/contact us in advance for more information. 
 

SHIPPING
All orders received during open hours will be ready for shipping within 5 business days.

No Shipping charges will be applied for ground shipments within Canada on invoices over $150.00(before taxes). Orders under $150.00 will have a $15.00 shipping fee added at checkout. If you require faster service, Above Academy asks that you pay the difference between Ground and your choice of upgraded service.

RETURNS AND EXCHANGES
Above Academy does not offer refunds on purchased products. Exchanges are available only if the product arrives damaged due to our error or a manufacturing defect, or if the item remains unopened. Please note that we are not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen packages once they have been shipped.
